Lemon + Poppy Tallow + Milk Bar

About this bar: Each soap bar is packed with the same nourishing and farm fresh ingredients as our pure tallow + goat milk cleansing bars with the addition of farm fresh lemon zest to give skin an extra boost and organic poppy seeds for gentle exfoliation. The citric acid present in lemon zest is a type of alpha hydroxy acid which promotes cell turnover leading to smoother and brighter skin. Its' vitamin C content will help to lighten dark spots, even out skin tone, and provide structure and elasticity to the skin. It is also known to be extremely beneficial for oily skin because it is an astringent, meaning it tightens pores and controls excess sebum. The presence of poppy seeds support skin regeneration, nourishment and protection. Poppy seed contains vitamin E, minerals (calcium, magnesium, iron), and unsaturated fatty acids that promote healthy skin cell turnover and improve the appearance of uneven skin tone. Poppy seed also contains linoleic acid, which helps maintain the skin's water barrier.
